THE TOWN OF SOUTH KINGSTOWN IS UNABLE TO ASSUME THE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE CARE OF THE GROUNDS DUE TO LACK OF FUNDS AND MAN POWER. THE FACILITY, WHICH WAS BUILT IN MEMORY OF A STUDENT OF WAKEFIELD SCHOOL WHO LOST HER BATTLE WITH A RARE CANCER, NEEDS TO BE MAINTAINED REGULARLY TO HONOR HER MEMORY AND TO PROVIDE A PLEASANT OUTDOOR SPACE FOR THE COMMUNITY TO ENJOY. |
