My husband and I originated a mortgage with XXXX in XXXX 2016 that was subsequently sold to Dovenmuehle Mortage Company. The original loan was a no escrow loan. Dovenmuehle has been issuing statements that add an escrow of additional flood insurance ( We have already purchased a one year policy with XXXX ) as well an escrow of taxes. I understand that Federal regulations have changed and I may be required to escrow the flood insurance, but we do not believe they have the right to collect my taxes on our behalf if we have opted to pay them them directly on our own ( see Closing Document ). The mortgage documents we signed were for a non-escrow loan. I have made several attempts to contact them and have reached several people including supervisors, who say they must pass the information on to a manager in the escrow department and they will call me back. I have never received a call back and am now receiving collection letters. We have been making regular payments for the original amounts due on the loan. We have not been paying the amount they say is due for the escrow, since we have already paid the taxes and purchased the insurance on our own. We would like the amount on the statements to show what we are actually legally required to remit to them and to stop receiving notices saying that we are in debt.

I discovered that there were checks attached to documentation that was sent to me from XXXX. When I discovered this I had 2 stale checks. For 2 years I have called spoke to multiple people and told that it would take XXXX weeks to be resent. I wait start the process all over again. Nothing has happened no check replacement to letters or calls NOTHING. I have the checks in my procession and XXXX of the agent stated that can see that the checks have not been cashed. Last 2 times I was told that it was because of a new regulation that had to be completed. We completed them. I was told to make sure I let whoever I speak to that the old account number was XXXX, because it was switched to SierraPacific XXXX and then to XXXX. Which are all subsidiaries of XXXX. The second escrow check they sent attached to the paperwork, never should have been refunded because by doing so meant my Home Owners didnt get paid and I did not know it. I want this money back and very tired of hearing the same BS each time I call.
First check # XXXX dated XX/XX/XXXX amount {$110.00} Second check # XXXX dated XX/XX/XXXX amount {$830.00} The name on the check XXXX XXXX XXXX This is unacceptable and I do expect them to pay me the interest. My belief is that they are waiting until it is too late. I would appreciate your help with this. I have been in touch with all of the institutions.

I am in a mortgage forbearance with XXXX XXXX XXXX since XX/XX/XXXX currently ending on XX/XX/XXXX. I have been calling about the two three month extensions my XXXX XXXX loan is eligible for but the keep telling me they have no guidance from management and that I need to keep calling.
I spoke to XXXX today who kept telling me that " as of today '' my loan was not eligible for any extension and that the only thing he could do was send me a loss mitigation application to submit to underwriting.
When I insisted I was eligible he kept saying " as of today '' and that I had to pay on XX/XX/XXXX or be put into the next step.
The strange part is that when Initially was connected the computer voice asked me to click 1 for the three month extension. He claimed he had no idea what that was about. He also said there was no supervisor available and that I could not record the call.

I applied for and received assistance from the Homeowners Assistance Fund of Rhode Island ( XXXX ) to help me with missed payments due to XXXX related reasons. They awarded me with a reinstatement grant of {$7500.00} which was sent to Dovenmuehle on XX/XX/2023. This payment would bring my account current but Dovenmuehle continues to hold my account in default. They continue to charge late fees and cause negative remarks on my credit report. When I contact the company no one can tell me what happened to the payment or why it has not been applied.
I am concerned they are trying to force this mortgage into foreclosure despite having received payment.

Hello, I refinance with XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX and at that time they put XX/XX/XXXX tax payment into escrow. I just refinanced again with same company XX/XX/XXXX and my attorney found that the taxes are deliquent because the City of XXXX did not receive the XX/XX/XXXX tax payment. I have phoned into Amerisave and servicer ( Dovenmuehle in Illinois ) 10+ times over the last 2 months trying to get this resolved and as of today the City still does not have the tax payment nor the interest payment. According to " XXXX '' at Dovenmuehle on XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX she stated that they sent 2 checks to City ... .check # XXXX in the amount of {$1200.00} which was deducted from my escrow to pay the taxes and check # XXXX in the amount of {$290.00} was paid by them ( Dovenmuehle ) because it was there mistake ... this was for the interest charge. I physically went to the city tax office this past friday and they never received the checks. I phoned back into Dovenmuehle today and spoke with " XXXX XXXX '' and she opened a work ticket and said it would take another 3-5 days to research. I asked to speak with her supervisor whose name is " XXXX XXXX '' and she said he would call me back. Dovenmuehle phone # is XXXX. Loan # is XXXX I received a payment notification from servicer stating that my taxes in the amount of {$1200.00} were paid on XX/XX/XXXX however the city never received the money nor did they get the interest fee.

I requested an on line mortgage payoff statement from Dovenmuehle Mortgage Co on XX/XX/XXXX. The statement indicated a total payoff amount of {$340000.00} if paid before XX/XX/2020. Due to quarantine restrictions and on line banking daily payment limits, I sent 4 successive on line payments to Dovenmuehle totaling {$340000.00}, which they received and posted to my mortgage account by XX/XX/2020.
As of XX/XX/2020 my outstanding principle balance was {$3600.00} per Dovenmuehle 's on line activity statement. I reviewed my loan activity and called Dovemuehle on XX/XX/2020 to request that the portion of each of those 4 previous supplemental payments not allocated to principal curtailment be allocated to principle. I was told that this was a manual bookkeeping step and that I should check back on XX/XX/2020.
I called Dovenmuehle on XX/XX/2020 and spent roughly 5 hours on hold and speaking to various customer service reps, supervisors, and loan recovery staff. I also requested a current Payoff statement which now showed an additional {$770.00} to payoff the loan. I also noticed that the sum of my late XXXX payments of {$340000.00} were added back to my mortgage balance and according to discussions with Dovenmuehle put into a suspense account. The XX/XX/2020 payoff balance was by Dovenmuehles admission, 17 days interest on the {$340000.00} balance which remained in their system as my payments of {$340000.00} were reversed out of my account and booked instead to that suspense account. Dovenmuehle couldn't explain why all my payments including those previously booked as principal curtailments weren't subsequently rebooked as principal curtailments. They remained in suspense as of XX/XX/2020.
No one I spoke to ( Supervisor XXXX, customer service XXXX XXXX, et al ) had the authority or interest to restate the accounting or modity the final payoff statement. It is my contention that the additional interest of {$770.00} to pay off my mortgage by XX/XX/2020 is unwarranted and based solely on Dovenmuehle 's decision to rebook my mortgage payments into a suspense account to either penalize a mortgage payoff or to take advantage of the current COVID 19 restrictions.
