Complaint What Happened On XX/XX/2022, I had a XXXX XXXX done through XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX. Thereafter, I received several bills- one from the XXXX, one from the XXXX- which I paid, but nothing from the hospital itself. Then, in about XXXX or XXXX, I began receiving collections calls from Medical Revenue Services, which I understand to be part of, or the same as, Medical Data Systems. The calls were regarding a debt from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX for {$1200.00} that was part of the XXXX XXXX I had back in XXXX. I explained to them that I had never received a single invoice regarding the debt until it was apparently placed in collections. I then called XXXX XXXX 's XXXX and told them the same. They advised they had sent me four invoices before placing the debt with XXXX for collections. I asked for the address to which they had sent all of the invoices. It turns out they had my street address misspelled as " XXXX '' when it was supposed to be " XXXX. '' I'm not sure why, particularly since the debt collector sent the mail to the correct address, as did the XXXX and the XXXX. In any event, XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX let me know they would pull it back from collections. I then began to receive bills from XXXX XXXX 's for the debt. However, collections activity has continued by XXXX XXXX I have continued to receive harassing phone calls despite telling them that the debt has been pulled back by XXXX XXXX 's. On XX/XX/2022, after receiving yet another collection call from XXXX XXXX XXXX immediately called XXXX XXXX XXXX regarding the debt. They advised me that they had communicated with XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX that the debt had been recalled ; moreover, XXXX XXXX XXXX told me that if there was an error, it lay with XXXX, as the fact of the debt recollection had been communicated to them. I called XXXX back. They claim it was not communicated to them. Since I am the consumer, I don't know which company is lying to me, or which company has made the error. But I have told XXXX several times that the debt has been pulled back and they have continued to harass me with phone calls and debt collection efforts. I'm at my wit 's end at this point. I don't know what this is going to do to my credit and it's keeping me up at night. No one seems to care that this debt is apparently continuing in collections despite the fact that it's not even my fault it was placed in collections to begin with. I need this to stop.
