29 CFR 1910.36(g)(2): Exit access(es) were not at least 28 inches (71.1 cm) wide at all points: a) Facility at 10 Chapel View Boulevard #B3A, Cranston, RI 02910: On or about June 21, 2022, throughout the establishment, the employer did not ensure that all the exit accesses remained clear of all stored boxes and merchandise, which reduced the exit access to less than 28 inches in width. b) Facility at 10 Chapel View Boulevard #B3A, Cranston, RI 02910: On or about June 21, 2022, throughout the establishment, the employer did not ensure that the exit routes were kept free and clear of objects projecting into the exit route, such as but not limited to, storage of pallets of merchandise, trash cans, and other items, resulting in the exit routes being reduced to less than the width of the exit route. c) Facility at 10 Chapel View Boulevard #B3A, Cranston, RI 02910: On or about June 21, 2022, the employer did not ensure that the exit in the back stock room remained free and unobstructed. At the time of the inspection, the exit door was completely blocked by various stock and stored equipment. |
