I financed a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. Fell behind on payments and surrendered it about XXXX months later.
The company refuses to settle for less than the balance of {$12000.00}. I am trying to also keep up with living expenses and it's too much ; especially now that I no longer drive the vehicle.
I literally am working on rent, security, and the leftover {$790.00} insurance premium as well as student loan balances.
I'm only one person. I have to get out of the XXXX XXXX XXXX where mice run around underground freely, knatts bite and fly around, as well as bedbugs.
I'm thankful to have XXXX good jobs to support, but it's just enough to buy food and make bills for even the most frugal lifestyle.

VIN : XXXX To date I continue receiving threatening letters from Lexus XXXX requesting payment for alleged exorbitant excise tax payments Lexus allegedly made to the City of XXXX but have not seen a copy of these payments nor even a copy of these bills. I am also QUITE confused as to why they would allegedly pay an exorbitant XXXX tax bill for a XXXX vehicle that I owned as of XX/XX/XXXX and was out of contract with in XX/XX/XXXX.
Attached you will find the letters I am receiving. I feel I am being extorted by Lexus XXXX and this needs to END!

In XXXX 2021, I already tried several calls with this company, Toyota Financial, and I told them they have the wrong number! They confirmed that they do have the wrong number and that they will not call me again. However, they still tried to call me every single day, and I reported to CFPB in the same month ( COMPLAINT ID XXXX ). Everything went well and they ensure that this won't happen again.
Recently, I am again receiving several calls from them again, with a different number, ( XXXX ) XXXX, I really have no idea what I should do to avoid this from happening again and again. They have the wrong number on their file!!!! I do not have any vehicles and I froze all my SSN so no one should be able to use my SSN to apply for loans ....
They have to remove my number from their file and STOP CALLING!

On XXXX XXXX, XXXX my bank account was debited {$600.00} twice from Toyota Financial. I called and they informed that I made a payment online on XX/XX/XXXX and again on XX/XX/XXXX both for {$600.00}. This was MY error ... however I don't remember doing the payment on XX/XX/XXXX. They said they were only able to return one once they finish processing, then I would get a check in the mail in 7-10 business days. I told them I would call my bank and place a stop payment, which would return both payment, then I would schedule another one. I did just that, and I received an email confirmation that my new payment was scheduled ( Confirmation number XXXX ). Today I go to pay my XX/XX/XXXX payment and its telling me I owe them more than {$1600.00} by XX/XX/XXXX. They never applied my payment from the end of XXXX. I called to find out what was going on as I have received no email, phone call or any communication that I am past due. The first woman I spoke with told me I was on a DO NOT CALL list ... I NEVER told them to add me to that list, I asked how that happened and figured that is why they didn't harass me after my payment was late. She said she can not tell me, I asked for a manager, she told me they can't help and continued to talk over me, I didn't even get to my questions, she had me on hold and I wound up hanging up 13 minutes into the call because I was unable to continue to wait. I called back and the next rep tells me she had no record of the payment I have the email confirmation for. She also told me my {$600.00} payments were returned NSF, which is also not true, they were returned due to the stop payment, which I told the rep back in XXXX I would be doing. Now the company will not let me make a payment online, I have to call, I am unable to use my bank account and they are unable to find that payment so its on me. I MADE MY PAYMENT. Its reflecting I am 33 days past due now which will reflect on my credit eventually and now I will have to go through the hoops to dispute this. My issue is my credit and the fact that SOMEONE added me to the do not call list without my permission. Had I received a call, I could have fixed this right away. I need to know who did this to my account and also WHY the payment I have an email confirmation for did not go through and doesn't reflect online. I also want the ability to pay my car loan online back.

Background : 1. Vehicle Purchase : I purchased a vehicle from Toyota on XX/XX/year>. The vehicle experienced a XXXX battery failure the very next day ( XX/XX/year> ), and I have the receipt for the battery replacement.
2. Warranty Issues : I submitted a request for reimbursement of {$200.00} for the defective battery, which was refused by Toyota, despite having direct warranties and protections under XXXX XXXX implied warranty laws ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX ).
3. Credit Reporting Problems : On XX/XX/year>, I discovered a charge-off on my credit report from Toyota, which resulted in a significant drop of XXXX points in my credit score. I've made multiple reports to credit bureaus, including XXXX, regarding this issue, yet Toyota continues to certify the accuracy of the charge-off.
4. Debt Collection : The debt related to my vehicle has allegedly been sold to XXXX XXXX XXXX, but I have never seen XXXX listed on my credit report. XXXX has sent me documentation related to my Toyota loan, GAP insurance payment, and a claim of {$260.00} in pre-existing damage that wasnt covered.
5. Consumer Rights : I believe that both Toyota and XXXX XXXX have violated the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( 15 U.S.C. 1681 ) and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( 15 U.S.C. 1692 ) by failing to correct inaccurate information on my credit report and possibly engaging in deceptive practices.

I was being called on my mobile number as early as XXXX after telling them numerous times to stop. I notified them verbally on at least XXXX occasions and the calls did not stop. They were making up to XXXX calls per day. I was told that it was an auto-dialer and they had no control over it.
After I retained an attorney to sue them, they escalated their efforts to keep me current on my auto loan payments and continued to make phone calls even after the attorney notified them. If I fell behind at all, they notified me of default. I have always made the payments, but have regularly been 30-60 days behind. In XXXX of 2015 they initiated a repossession. I was able to make full payment at that time but have since been late making subsequent payments. After I retained the attorney and he notified them of the law suit, they stopped calling me but continued to send statements by mail. On XXXX morning, my car was repossessed. I am behind XXXX payments. I was not notified by certified mail as required by law. The tow operator trespassed onto my property and pushed my vehicle into the street and then towed it away. The local police were not notified and the tow operator made quite a scene banging on my door multiple times at XXXX and pushing my car into the street in a quiet residential area on a holiday. The practices overall of this company are shameful. I understand that I was late on my payments, but has ALWAYS been late on my payments. Why this would make XXXX XXXX 2015 any different is beyond me.

This duplicate case is in reference to complaint no. XXXX. The attached documents are XXXX credit reports pulled on XXXX XXXX, 2015 and XXXX XXXX, 2015.
The XXXX XXXX report shows a total balance of {$280.00} with an on time account, last paid in XX/XX/2015.In XXXX 2015, the new report shows the following inaccuracies that show the Company BACKTRACKING information.The last payment shown is in XXXX 2015 and the charge off is shown as disputed. I never disputed the charge with Toyota or any credit companies. I was working with the CFPB and can be quoted on an XX/XX/XXXX call with TFS as having said so. Also, how can an account in 15 days, go from on time status to charge off with no notice or communication to me? The XX/XX/XXXX bill was sent 15 days later and nearly five months after I returned the car to the dealership and reached out to them immediately, asking them for the balance due ( even though my XXXX 2015 credit report showed {$280.00} ). After months of TFS and the dealership telling me they are " trying to figure it out '' they finally sent me the bill on XXXX XXXX, while at the same time without notice put me into collections. I should have had enough time to cut them a check.
According to the Fair Credit Reporting Act, " Consumer reporting agencies must correct or delete inaccurate, incomplete, or unverifiable information within 30 days. '' I want this removed from my credit. After that is completed, I will pay off the total balance owed on the account.

I have 2 vehicles from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX leases ended XXXX XXXX I extended as due to Pandemic, XXXX. XXXX had inventory issues ; most dealers had long waits for electric/hybrids 2. I am an XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX worker and I had less time to deal with dealers In 2023 XXXX, further lease extensions stopped, and TFS asked me to hand in the vehicle.
Several issues caused confusion.
1. My automatic payments were recalculated and no longer possible through website XXXX 2. Despite me making several attempts and payments over the phone, I could not keep track of which vehicle payment was made and which was not- ( 2 monthly payments for two cars ) 3. I asked XXXX for support, made phone payments, and tried to set up automated payments from the Online TFS account, but each attempt got canceled.
4. The verification process from XXXX required written letters and signatures, which hampered the process- 5. These automated payments were canceled without my knowledge- I am still unsure if this was because of issues with account verification or if this was a new lease-end policy that auto-payments could not be set up online.
6. XXXX XXXX account is glitchy and it is tough to tell which account I am working on /Billing statements digitally do not appear ( digital PNG file attached ) Late Payment/Credit Bureau report- XXXX XX/XX/2023, I found out that despite my regular payments and attempts to pay at XXXX, one of my two costs did not get paid, and I was charged a late fee and I was reported to the Credit Bureau.
This was odd 1. Had made regular payments to XXXX through XXXX online account and got confirmation emails I paid -however, one of the two accounts or both stopped payment without notification as the paper-signed contract was not in.
2. I was constantly talking with XXXX and making payments on one of two vehicles but billing was erratic through XXXX

I had a lease with Toyota Financial Services and purchased the vehicle after the lease was over. I purchased through another finance company in XXXX XXXX. In XXXX XXXX I received a tax bill from my city for approximately {$30.00} ( which covered the month of XXXX of year when I owned the vehicle ). I paid the tax bill and immeditaely called Toyota Financial Services to find out what I would owe to them for property tax. I was assured by the representative that my account was paid in full and I did not owe any taxes. I explained to the reporesentative that I should owe taxes for XXXX for the amount of time the vehicle was leased. She assured me that I would not owe any taxes. All a sudden a month ago I received a letter stating my account would be in collections if I did not pay the taxes owed. I called Toyota Financial and they advised it was for property taxes. I advised them i was told I owed no taxes and they said the information was incorrect. I asked for a copy of the tax bill because the amount they provided seemed too large to me. They advised I would have the bill within XXXX48 hours by email. It has been 2 weeks and I still have not received a copy of the actual bill from the county. I called again today and was told they were not sure why the request was not put in but they would put it in again today. She said they are backed up and would have it to me in 72 hours. I am afraid my account is going to be sent to collections and will affect my credit and they are not helping me prevent that from happening.

I had the opportunity to talk to several lawmakers and friends, and learned some basic laws in regards to voluntary or repossession of a vehicle. Under the laws of MASS and UCC 9.506 as well as State RISA and MVISA statutes, a deficiency can not be claimed unless all of the required notices were properly and timely given, and all of the allowable redemption and cure time limits were adhered to. PLEASE HAVE THEM IMMEDIATELY REMOVE

I have tried to resolve this with the credit bureaus ( reached out XXXX times total ) and with Toyota Financial directly ( reached out XXXX times total ).
I have written, called, and emailed.
For over XXXX years, an auto loan has been incorrectly reporting. The account was opened in XXXX and was closed in XXXX of XXXX.
They have reported incorrect dates, incorrect dollar amounts and incorrect dates. Please feel free to reference just how often the information they report ( to all credit bureaus ) has vastly changed.
When I pointed out the account was too old to be on my account, they CHANGED the date of last payment so that they could continue reporting and continue trying to get their money.
I dont know what to do anymore. I have done everything right - I have completely fixed my credit.
When I finally got them removed from my credit reports ( Toyota Financial ) they REAPPEARED as a new entity ( Toyota Motor ).
What they are doing is wrong and illegal.

In XXXX, we returned our lease vehicle to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ( RI ) that was leased through Toyota Motor Credit Corporation ( TMCC ). A few months after turning in the vehicle and being told that because we were leasing another Toyota vehicle we would not be charged any wear/tear fees, we received an invoice for {$720.00} for wear/tear/tax and other miscellaneous receivables. We fought this invoice but ended up paying the {$720.00} through XXXX XXXX XXXX and that check was cashed on XX/XX/XXXX. A few weeks ago I was contacted by XXXX XXXX XXXX stating that I owed an outstanding balance of {$260.00}. I advised them that I had cleared up my balance with Toyota and requested a copy of the bill they claim I owe. I received a " Validation of Debt '' from XXXX XXXX with a letter from them stating the balance they claim I owe and a copy of the {$720.00} invoice ( that was already paid ). I spoke to representatives at both XXXX XXXX and TMCC and neither company could verify this amount in their systems, TMCC representative XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX stated he was unable to see this remaining balance in the system and the only amount he could see was the {$720.00} that was paid. I advised both companies that I would pay the invoice if they are able to provide me with an actual invoice outlining what the charges are for. I have requested XXXX XXXX to cease and desist contact with me and my relatives and will be sending a letter to TMCC demanding a letter stating that my account is paid in full and no future collection agencies will contact me, and to update my credit bureaus, if in fact this was reported to the credit bureaus.

Dear Toyota Motor Credit ; I am writing to address an alleged debt that I have no knowledge of and believe to be fraudulent. I have never engaged with your companies or the original creditor, nor do I recognize any contractual obligations with them. The inaccuracies in this account 's reporting violate FCRA and FDCPA regulations.
To resolve this, I insist on proof of this debt, specifically the alleged contract or agreement bearing my signature, and proof of your authority in this matter. Without such documentation, I demand the correction of any erroneous credit reports pertaining to this debt.
Please provide the following promptly : Evidence of your authorization under 15 USC 1692 ( e ) and 15 USC 1692 ( f ) for this matter.
Legal basis for your collection of this information and debt.
Evidence of your authorization to operate in this state.
Proof of the alleged debt, including contracts or instruments bearing my signature. Complete account history, including collection-related charges. I am filing a formal complaint citing violations of my
consumer rights under the FCRA and FDCPA. According to 15 U.S.C. 602 ( a ), I am entitled to privacy, and 15 U.S.C. 604 ( a ) ( 2 ) specifies that no account can be furnished without my written instructions. Therefore, I demand an immediate cessation of all communication and collection activities regarding this account. I also request the deletion of this account from my credit report due to its unrecognized status and absence of contractual obligations.

I purchased XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX from XXXX in XXXX RI. They financed through Toyota Motor Credit. I paid off loan early @ XX/XX/XXXX. I received title but they did NOT send me clean title - title still shows lienholder of XXXX. I have financed many vehicles in my lifetime and have ALWAYS been provided with clean title. XXXX is having me go to State DMV to have me obtain and pay for a clean title. Didnt I already pay for this service when I financed through XXXX? I have contacted TMC and voiced my displeasure and told them I would be contacting your office. I would appreciate any assistance you can provide in having them provide me with a clean title. Thank you.
